Tawau Hills Park is a protected
forest under the management of
Sabah Parks. Tawau Hills Park is
an area inhabited by some of the
tallest tropical trees in the world. In
addition, there are 3 inactive
volcanoes in the area, namely
Mount Maria, Mount Magdalena,
and Mount Lucia. The main
objective of this event is to
introduce Tawau as a general
tourist destination and an
environmental tourism destination
in Tawau Hills Park through the
sporting events in the park.
