Putrajaya Wetlands Park, Putrajaya
Species Count :
+200 bird species.
Habitat : The park comprises constructed freshwater
wetlands, reedbeds, open water, marshlands, forest patches,
and landscaped gardens.
Visitor Experience: Putrajaya Wetlands Park offers an
easy and accessible birdwatching experience with well
maintained walking and cycling paths, observation towers,
boardwalks, and shaded rest points.
Potential Bird Sightings :
Resident Birds : Purple Heron, White-breasted Waterhen, Blue-tailed Bee-eater, White-throated Kingfisher, Yellow vented Bulbul, and Grey Heron.
Migratory Birds (August–March) : Daurian Starling , Barn Swallow, Yellow-rumped Flycatcher, and Black Baza.
Resident Birds : Purple Heron, White-breasted Waterhen, Blue-tailed Bee-eater, White-throated Kingfisher, Yellow vented Bulbul, and Grey Heron.
